Overall, a pretty healthy market this month. More cars listed, more cars sold, higher average. Interesting to note that the highest price paid this frame was for a 1973 Coupe. So much for those who say "fat chick" Ghias are less desirable...

1969  Volkswagen : Karmann Ghia

"I`ve had this Ghia 5 or 6 years but it has been garaged much of the time.At 81 I`ve lost interest and must simplify my life. I drove it to Phoenix in December from the East Coast. Rebuilt 36 hp engine ran strong all the way. Has new ball joints, new front brake rotors and calipers, new rear brake linings, and new muffler. Body almost completely restored. Rust in rear floor and needs side rear view mirror. Cassette stereo with fibreglas speaker enclosures. Great mechanical shape but needs paint job. Passed NYS inspection. Drive it while you finish restoration. "

The low selling price was probably low because the seller had no pictures of the car. Even so, you can't go wrong for $1,450.
